An idea I originally had around the end of 2003 I think, except I wasn't sure of how to go about telling it then so I didn't. Around the time I was starting up the Kiwis By Beat site I remembered it and had a bunch of new ideas for it, and so here we are! Things will be moving pretty slowly so I'm going to be updating once a month with fairly decent sized chunks.  I guess... I guess updates will be ... 24/6/2007 - Sorry for the late update. The pages were done but I had some small problems with them and... spent two weeks staring at them a lot. I eventually made a few small changes and just plowed through the stuff I was stuck on, so I might go back and modify portions of this last chapter some time in the future. Nothing major, probably you won't be able to tell what was bothering me by reading it. Anyways! Updates will probably slow down for the rest of the year. It's pretty clear that I need to do some more research before dealing with certain types of characters that will be showing up in the future, so I'll be spending some of the time I have allotted for this comic doing that instead of drawing it.; also there are some other things I'm working on that won't go online until they're completely finished which is taking up a lot of my time, but those will hopefully be done completely before the year is through. So anyways, I'm putting up an rss for when the comic updates. If things work out then I'll move back to a normal schedule, but now: <a href="socks.xml">here's rss feed</a>. <br><br>

11/6/2007 - The pages are finished. They've been done for over a week actually I'm just late getting them scanned and uploaded. I'll try to do so later this week. <br><br>

10/4/2007 - By a million pages, I meant seventeen and pretty late. I'm taking too long getting these up so I've decided to not update in May; instead I'm going to focus on getting some other stuff out of the way so that I'll have more time for it come June. That's it! So... see you in not May!<br><br>


03/3/2007 - yeah, so I went ahead and changed "first" to "first week" because really. That's the explanation of why, by the way, "really". These updates keep getting shorter it is kind of annoying.I'll try to update in April with a MILLION pages. Times two. TWICE. =\ <br><br>
