Here is an old strip! The comic ended last week for anyone not yet aware, so I'm running some extra comics for the rest of the month.I'm also taking the last round of print orders this month. If this is your first time here, you should probably start from the beginning.

Originally it was actually the beginning of a story. The original story was pretty cruel so I ended up changing it to something lighter before I decided to just leave it as a standalone strip. I did draw one more comic from the story before it was scrapped though, and here that is(most of the comics like this one that were drawn but didn't go online weren't colored, so I've added light washes to them):

and a standalone strip:

I drew 3 or 4 versions of this but didn't like any of them. I liked the guy toppling in the background more than I should have but in all of the scenarios set up the angry minus never felt right and in the end I never sorted it out. I was going to put up more than these two comics today but it didn't occur to me that I'd have to ink/color any of them until it was too late...

About the comic:

Each minus strip is painted on a 15x20" piece of Illustration board. With this comic I am pretending I am making a comic strip for a newspaper in the early 20th century. A special newspaper that lets me use as much color as I want, because real papers have limitations on that sort of thing. Or maybe they did in the past I'm not sure!

10/7/08-Hi! My accidental slight change in the site's design has left me nothing to put in this box! Um... LINK! If you've ever wondered what the real meaning behind any of these comics are... visiting this blog won't help you out any.
