|About the comic:|
Each minus strip is painted on a 15x20" piece of Illustration board. With this comic I am pretending I am making a comic strip for a newspaper in the early 20th century. A special newspaper that lets me use as much color as I want. I'm not much for comic strips so I don't know how long I'll be doing this one, so enjoy it while it lasts, I guess? It'll be updating every thursday until I suddenly stop! Making comics on giant paper is pretty neat though. Yeah.
So anyways, today was pretty rough. I spent the entire morning running around the city and spent the afternoon in a desperate attempt to color 3 strips in 2 hours. I failed, but I do have three strips that are mostly colored because of it... mostly. I needed to hurry because this was my last day at school ever and the computer labs with the giant scanners were going to close soon. I ended up carrying the three 3 strips I finished before today to my last class and snuck into a random classroom to use the scanner in it,which was a bit worse than the ones they have in the lab. So I'm set for the next 3 weeks, but I'm not sure of what I'll do after that. With my computer setting itself on fire a few months ago, I won't have one I can use whenever I like and I'll probably have to piece each strip together from 6 different scans on a regular sized scanner. I'm going to try and buy a cheap large one though. I've heard it sucks for color, but after the cheap one, they all cost several thousand dollars and so sucky color will have to do. Also: Minus has reached strip seventeen! Now it can watch R rated movies!
